Packed full of audiophile quality components, the Musical Fidelity offers an insight into music that's rare - even at this price. Uniquely featuring both a mains choke filter and a high-tech digital-stream noise filter, the M3SCD offers very low levels of noise and jitter. This leads to a sound that's both clearly etched and wonderfully dynamic.

Purity of sound

At its heart, the M3SCD uses high quality 24-bit Delta-Sigma DACs (Digital to Analogue Convertors) running in dual differential mode. This lowers the noise and distortion levels even further, for greater purity of sound. Finally, the rigid metal casework not only looks good but also plays its part in resisting mechanical and electrical interference. If you want to hear music in its purist and most natural form then this is simply one of the finest CD players in its class.

Use as a DAC for other digital sources

A great advantage with the Musical Fidelity M3SCD is the ability to use it as a DAC for your other digital sources. With a coaxial digital input that accepts signals up to 24-bit/192kHz and an optical input that accepts 24-bit/96kHz signals, you can even connect up high resolution audio compatible sources and take advantage of the very high quality DAC built into the CD player.

Asynchronous USB
