Four Years in the Making — Rega's Reference Power Amplifier

The Rega Solis is a hand-built stereo power amplifier that represents nearly four decades of Rega solid-state amplifier expertise distilled into a single, definitive reference component. Designed to partner with the Mercury preamplifier or to be driven by the Rega Aethos integrated amplifier used as a pre-amp, it uses fully symmetrical discrete circuitry throughout its signal path and twelve high-current output transistors to deliver effortless power into even the most demanding speaker loads.

Fully Symmetrical Discrete Design

Six Sanken output transistors per channel — twelve in total — provide the current delivery needed to control difficult impedance loads without compression or strain. Both balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) inputs are provided, and the symmetrical architecture ensures the lowest possible noise and distortion floor from input to output.

Practical Intelligence

Short circuit, thermal, and DC protection safeguard both amplifier and speakers. A 12V trigger input enables system automation, while an independent mute function and user-selectable standby mode (drawing just 0.4W) make it as practical as it is capable. Engineered and hand-built in England, with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
