The Heart of a Heritage Home Cinema System

The Wharfedale Heritage Centre is a dedicated centre channel loudspeaker designed to sit at the heart of a Heritage series surround sound system. Matched in design and voicing to the LINTON and DENTON, it delivers the full-bodied warmth, expressive midrange, and natural, unforced presentation that have made Wharfedale's Heritage range so widely admired — with the added clarity and vocal intelligibility that a well-designed centre channel brings to film and television.

Three-Way Driver Configuration

Dual 6.5" woven Kevlar bass drivers flank a 2" soft-dome midrange unit, topped by a 1" soft-dome tweeter. The three-way design divides frequency responsibilities cleanly, enabling the midrange driver to handle vocals and dialogue with exceptional focus and naturalness. Crossover points at 900Hz and 2.7kHz ensure seamless driver integration.

Musicality Meets Home Cinema

A bass reflex enclosure with internal bracing and rear-firing port extends bass to 47Hz (–6dB), giving soundtracks genuine weight and impact. With a sensitivity of 90dB and a peak SPL of 106dB, it will keep up with even powerful AV receivers. Available in Black Oak, Mahogany, and Walnut real-wood veneers to match your Heritage front speakers.
